Darling Loungewear was created with the idea that you shouldn’t have to choose between comfort and feeling put-together. Founded by Amelia in Charleston, South Carolina, the brand draws inspiration from the city’s laid-back spirit and classic charm. Growing up with an artist mother and a father in architecture, Amelia was naturally drawn to thoughtful design. After gaining valuable experience at a local Charleston brand, she set out to build something of her own.
Darling began with a small line of hand-block printed sleep dresses and pajamas made in India. Today, the collection has expanded to include effortless everyday pieces like dresses and matching sets designed to carry you from bed to beach to brunch.
Each piece is produced in limited quantities with careful attention to fit and detail. Darling’s commitment to thoughtful design has made pieces like the Sweet and Short Set, a dress set featuring shorts, an important part of the brand’s growth. Darling also has a loyal bridal following, often dressing the bride, bridal party, and mothers of the bride and groom for their getting-ready moments.
